Mango iced tea is a refreshing and delicious summer beverage made with the rich and exotic flavour of ripe mangoes and the classic taste of brewed tea. This fruity summer drink can also be made with green tea. This drink will help in bringing relief from the scorching heat. So don’t forget to try this drink in this mango season.
Ingredients
- Mangoes
- Black Tea Powder
- Sugar
- Lemon Juice
- Sugar

- Mint Sprigs (Optional)
Recipe
- Peel and chop the mangoes.
- In a blender, add mangoes and prepare a mango puree. Refrigate the mango puree until you brew tea.
- Heat Water until it boils.
- Turn off the stove.
- Add the lea leaves to black tea powder. Stir to mix it well.
- Cover the pan with a lid. Let the tea steep in the hot water for 3 to 4 minutes. You can leave it for more time if you prefer a stronger tea.
- Strain the tea in a jar. Cover and refrigerate it.
- Once the tea is cooled, take it out from refrigerator.
- In a blender, pour the tea.
- Add the mango puree, 1 Tsp Lemon Juice and 1 Tsp Sugar. Keep in mind, the sweetness of mangoes before adding the sugar.
- Blend everything till it smoothens.
- Add some ice cubes in a tall glass.
- Serve the Mango Iced Tea garnished with mint leaves on top. You can also add Mango slices or lemon as a garnish.
