Green chutney, also known as Hari Chutney, is a quick and vibrant chutney made with coriander and mint leaves. This chutney has a taste of spice, tang, and a hint of sweetness. This chutney is served as a dip and perfectly pairs with chaats, sandwiches, pakoras and samosas.
Ingredients
2 cups coriander leaves
1/2 inch ginger
2 green chilies
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon salt or as required
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 to 2 teaspoons water
Instructions
- Rinse 2 cups coriander leaves well in water, chop them roughly and then add them into a blender jar.
- Add the following mentioned ingredients in a blender jar
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 2 green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt as required
- Add 1 or 2 teaspoons water and blend it into a smooth chutney. Add more water, if required to make a smooth chutney. Don’t make it too watery.
- Transfer the green chutney in a bowl and serve as a dip with Indian Snacks.
